What makes a great drive?

I suppose it is a lot of things. Sometimes the person you are with is enough to transform Interstate 5 into a magical piece of tarmac. A great car can certainly transform a dull road into a great drive. Sometimes it is the scenery, the road surface, a set of curves, a destination. I think any of these attributes by themselves can make a great drive. But, what would happen if you combined two, three, four, all of them? What kind of drive would that be?

There is my goal. While I cannot do anything about the company you chose or the car you drive if I can find a wonderful road, with great scenery, a set of good curves, and an engaging destination I will have done my job.
