You would be forgiven for thinking I would have learned a lesson after my one (two but who’s counting) year with the Ferrari. Buying sports cars, driving them around, and writing about it may be gainful employment for someone. I have yet to meet this someone but I am sure he or she is out there. For me buying a sports car, driving it around and writing about the experience was an inefficient way to spend a wheelbarrow’s worth of money.
It must have not been all bad as I am back for round two.
Here is what I am planning next. I am going to research, find, and buy the best all around sports car made. I have a hunch what it might be but I am not quite ready to put it down in print. Simultaneously I am going to find the 10 best drives in Oregon, recruit some friends, and eventually go for some drives.
There is one major difference when compared to my One Year with a Ferrari project. This time I have no illusions of being able to break even when I sell the car. I plan to lose money.
